AISI/SAE 5160 Carbon Steel Bar Description

5160 alloy steel is a high carbon spring steel with a small amount of chromium added in addition to carbon. The addition of chromium can improve the hardenability of steel. 5160 steel has excellent toughness, ductility and fatigue resistance.
