resistencia a la corrosi\u00f3n. Debido a su menor contenido en carbono, es menos resistente a la corrosi\u00f3n que el acero inoxidable y los aceros aleados de alta resistencia. Sin embargo, en las condiciones adecuadas, la resistencia a la corrosi\u00f3n de las piezas AISI1025 puede mejorarse mediante un tratamiento superficial con una fina pel\u00edcula. El AISI1025 tambi\u00e9n puede someterse a tratamiento t\u00e9rmico para aumentar su resistencia y dureza. El tratamiento t\u00e9rmico puede conseguirse templando y reveniendo el acero a altas temperaturas.
